We are Anouk & Soraya, the faces behind Authentic Vibes. We met in the summer of 2021 and it clicked immediately.
When Anouk became manager of the cosy studio Yogaloft in Ghent later that year, the seed was planted for a beautiful collaboration. The monthly yoga & brunch sessions organised at Yogaloft on Sundays proved to be a success and it tasted like more.
With Anouk's passion for yoga & surf and her experience as a yoga teacher at various retreats combined with Soraya's retreat chef training that she was all too keen to put into practice, it was soon clear that we wanted to organise retreats together.
Anouk guides you during the yoga sessions with a focus on the healing power of yoga and meditation. For her, these are unique ways to be more conscious in life.
‘My practice helps me deal with my feelings, attitude to life and thoughts,’ says Anouk. She sees the body as a source of wisdom: everything - feelings, thoughts, even physical complaints - is connected.
When you don't feel good about yourself, it can weigh down your thoughts. By creating space in body and mind, you find that your life changes in a soothing way. Yoga helps you avoid living on autopilot and keep your heart open, which deepens your daily experience.
After years of study and practice, Anouk wants to share her passion and insights, to inspire you and bring you closer to yourself.

Soraya of Food4theSoul combines her cooking skills with the importance of a healthy lifestyle. She specialises in vegetarian and vegan cooking. Moreover, get to know ‘Soraya's herbs. She makes various spice blends herself, drawing on the transmission she inherited from her Tunisian roots.
Soraya likes to get creative with what is available and draws her inspiration from the kitchens of different cultures with which she makes her own creations. Cooking with seasonal vegetables supplemented by local products straight from the short chain (from farmers or local producers) fits completely into her vision of healthy and sustainable food.
